We are living 1/2 time……

January 7, 2009 – 12:08am (well, technically Jan 8th, but….)

Hello! Boy, is it late! Are you wondering what the title means?? Well, if you are an RVer with a modern microwave, you know what I’m talking about Remember, our microwave broke, Apollo replaced it for free (free shipping too). Now, we are experimenting with the “1/2 time oven” part of it. We never had one of these nifty 1/2 time ovens before. So, we put in four small boneless chicken pieces in there (with shake and bake) and normally we would cook it for 40 minutes in a typical oven. Now, we let that baby burn for 16 minutes and wow, done, great, perfect….it was perfect! I loved it. So, now we are living 1/2 time! We can put anything in there, from vegetables to potatoes, it’s great! What you normally would cook it for….well, you’re not an idoit, you can figure it out….now in 1/2 the time!!! After we enjoyed chicken and mashed potatoes for lunch, we were off and running.
Have I told you how much I love Fremont Street…..

And yep, Carl Ferris was “in the house” playing his music. We picked up one of his CDs “Promises”, great music!

They will turn anything into a slot machine……

And Jake really needs to lay off the Margaritas Hee hee.

Well, it was a pretty simple day! A great day. I checked on some friends up north, I checked on some friends down south, everyone is doing good. Tomorrow we are going to Walmart, we learned our lesson about going on a Friday, so we will get that done tomorrow. I wish I had more news for you, but I’ll be back tomorrow. Good nite!
