That’s why the letters R and V is in the word “friends”…..

Well, maybe not the “V”, but it should be. There’s is nothing like great company when you are RVing around the country. We’ve been with friends from Colorado most of the week having a great time. What charming personalities Christine and Todd have and it’s great to be around people like that. You know what I’m talking about…..nice, down-to-earth, people. I haven’t seen Christine is about 20 years and it was wonderful to spend time with her and her husband. We showed them around town. We went to see the Mirage Casino volcano show……..

Then we saw the Bellagio Casino water show. Is that a view or what…..

We visited some other casinos and enjoyed Fremont Street. Yesterday we went to Paris Casino, Bally’s Casino, and Flamingo Casino. We ate at the buffet at the Flamingo Casino. That is a delicious buffet. Todd and Christine had paid our way. We all had our cash out to pay and I knew we shouldn’t of let them ahead of us in line, because sure enough, the guy Todd is, he paid for all of us before we knew it. Thank you to both of you! I hope to see you both again soon and not let 20 years slip by again! And today they stopped by our RV around 2:30 this afternoon and we headed out to Sam’s Town Casino. We spent some time there and watched their laser and water show at 6pm. That’s always a great show to watch!! And then while we were at Sam’s Town, my dad won $540 dollars in a slot machine…..sooooo, you know the rules, if you win over $250 dollars, you have to pay for dinner! So, then we left there and went to Silverton Casino and enjoyed their buffet. Then after we ate, we spent some time at Silverton Casino gambling and we entered a free drawing for a neat new Honda car (I saw the car, but forgot what model it was, it was red, that’s all I remember). They drew the name of the winner of the car while we were there and neatless to say, I have never owned a Honda, and after that drawing, I still don’t. SO, we have had a busy two days running around everywhere and having a great time! Now, I’m back in the blogging saddle again. We are leaving Las Vegas on Saturday morning heading towards Yuma, Arizona (maybe a 6 hour drive). Quartzsite is starting the 17th for one week. I will be there and take alot of pictures for you! For the people that don’t know what Quartzsite is, it’s a small town that has the largest RV show in the US. All the RVing vendors get together to sell RVing related items. RVing consumers get together and see what kind of new RVing items they can get for a great deal. I will take a ton of pictures there! Tomorrow is our last day in Las Vegas. Right now, maybe because it’s midnight and I’m a bit tired, I’m glad to leave Las Vegas and move on……but ask me Sunday and I’ll tell you I want to go back! But, we have plenty else to see ahead of us, places and people waiting down the road for us to meet. And I can’t wait!!
