Another Nice Normal Day In Paradise

Today was a quiet day and once again, breezy outside. We spend most of the day inside. We cooked dinner, I spent sometime on the internet and gave Jake a bath. Nice relaxing day. I wish I had more news for you, but tomorrow we are getting up at 8am and heading to Mexico at 9:30 to enjoy the afternoon there (with a few margaritas). I’ll bring my camera to get some great pictures!

But today I sorted thru my email inbox. I get a few emails from my blog readers every once in a while. Today I got three emails from my readers saying they like reading my blog. Awwww, thanks! Positive feedback is appreciated, negative feedback is deleted. LOL. I haven’t gotten any negative feedback so don’t start filling my inbox now. Two of the emails I got today were from RV fulltimers and the third one was from someone who came across this blog thru a social media website that I use to get this blog website out to others on the internet.

I also spend some time every so often on a RV forum at www.rvforum.net. The people that on that forum are super nice and very informative. I posted a questions on there a while back about a particular destination in the mid-west and I got back over 200 responses. Everyone gave their two cents. Big help! And don’t be shy either, even if you are new to RVing or even just thinking about RVing someday in your future, they cover RVing topics of all sorts that you might be wondering about or curious about.

I’m trying to avoid talking about the economy as I see the news on TV talking about potentially cutting back the USPS routes so you get your mail five days a week instead of six. I’ll leave that hot topic alone…….

Today I received all my mail from back home. When we started this trip off in November I was debating about getting a mail forwarding service or just being a burden to someone and they can mail out my mail to me. Well, of course, instead of doing things the easy way and getting my mail forwarded to me with one of those nifty mail forwarding services, I decided to burden someone to collect my mail and every other month ship it to where I am. I mean, to me, that would be more logic……why? I don’t have many bills and I pay my cell phone bill and other bills over the phone with my debit card. So, when I got my mail today, it was either bills that were already paid or my monthly magazine subscriptions that I love. So, for the evening, I flipped thru my magazines of Trailer Life, Highways Magazine by the Good Sam Club, and the Gypsy Journal Newspaper.

That lasted me until 6:30 where I was forced to stop reading my Trailer Life magazine to go to Bingo. Hey, I can’t miss Bingo! Bingo was from 7pm to 9pm and tonight, once again, I didn’t win. But, it’s fun and I get to talk to new people that sit around us everytime my mom and I go. She does most of the yapping as I eye her Bingo card for any close Bingos she might have.

After bingo, we returned to the RV for some good TV shows and now I’m off to bed. I hope all is well with everyone and thanks to everyone who emailed me today. Stay In Touch!
