Still Alive And Kicking…..

Hi. Today was another nice relaxing day. I really think my spoiled life is going to bite me in the butt someday or has it already?? I sleep until noon, everything aches when my body hits the “start” button inside of me as I try to get out of bed, my brain has shut down because I’ve stopped thinking about a month ago, and all I know how to do now is to crawl towards the sun and lay there in the lawn chair like a lizard basking in the sun on a rock.

Today I started my day at 11am. And was on the internet until 2pm checking emails, checking my twitter account, facebook account, blah, blah, blah, typical web stuff. This afternoon we enjoyed strawberry shortcake. Remember that pick up truck that I was telling you about that sells the bags of oranges and lemons….well, there was also a stand on the side of the road selling strawberries. Yummy. It’s like summer time in New Hampshire down here. So we bought some strawberries and good ol’ Mom did her magic and turned those strawberries into………

Oh, and homemade fresh whipped cream, so good, I thought I was dreaming……

That’s my pyramid of perfection right there. Take a quick look because in the next minute it was gone!!! Yummy……

There is a shortcake in there somewhere, really……

And don’t you think for one minute that Jake didn’t get his share. He got a little bit of whipped cream to enjoy. What a good boy!

Well that was our day today. Other than that, we went to Walmart for a little bit and at 7pm we are going to Bingo here at the recreational hall. It should be against the law to live this good. Oh, and speaking of good things happening, Friday at 10am the new casino 19 minutes from here opens. Huge casino. I’ll bring my camera, stay tuned, and thanks for checking on me. Bye! 🙂
