Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day to you! I hope you enjoyed your day with the special person in your life. Today was a pretty eventful day with family and friends. This morning we started our day at the Flea Market. Huge one next door here. You can easily get lost in there and spend hours just browsing thru some good deals. I didn’t buy much, just moseyed around. This is the Flea Market where you see alot of pets. Alot of people bring their dog to this Flea Market. It must of been “Yorkie Day” because those are mostly what I saw. Yorkie’s everywhere.

Jake stayed home day. We gave him a bath this morning before the flea market and instead of taking him to the doggie spa (don’t laugh, back home he goes to a doggie spa) I gave him a customize haircut. I winged it with the scissors. I did a pretty good job mostly due to Jake’s cooperation for once. I rolled him over and trimmed all the hair off his belly and chest. His ventilation system must be working great now! The breeze just moves right thru his hair now.

Okay, I slipped off track. So after the Flea Market we went to visit a friend we have in town here. She lives about 10 minutes from us in a RV Park and we picked her up and we all went out to eat. We ate dinner around 3:30pm at the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. We thought if we went for an early dinner, the restaurant would not be as busy. Yeah, right! It was an hour wait at 3:30. But with good company, time just flies by. So we had steak and Margarita’s there – Yummy!!

After we left the restaurant, we did a quick pit-stop at the Paradise Casino. Speaking of pit-stops – the Daytona 500 is tomorrow and you’ll find me in front of the TV watching it! Oh yea, so we went to the Casino and I lost $50 bucks.

Since we are leaving Arizona on Thursday, I turned all my casino points in and got a free t-shirt. After we left the Paradise Casino we stopped by our friends motorhome to drop her off and stayed for a little while yapping about good times. So that was our Valentine’s Day today and I couldn’t of asked for a better day.

Tomorrow we are getting up super early, at 8am, to head to Mexico!! We are going to spend the morning in Mexico and then we are going to spend the afternoon at the new Quechan Casino they just opened on Friday. I’ll be a great day, I just know it!
